Where r u..H1N1 is everywhere

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- A bank in Kuala Lumpur and six schools - three in Kelantan, two in Penang and one in Perak were directed to close business and classes today in a move to prevent the spread of influenza A (H1N1).


The Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branch in Taman Leng Seng was closed for two days when a staff was confirmed H1N1 positive.


The BSN in its statement to the media said all its staff at the branch were directed to go for a health check-up while the bank was in the process of being cleansed.
According to the statement, BSN customers at the branch were redirected to other branches in Taman Midah, Taman Segar and Taman Suntex or any of its branches or ATM machines and BSN Cash Deposits for banking transactions.


In Penang, the Chairman of the State Committee on Health, Phee Boon Poh said the two schools - Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Convent Butterworth and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Lahar Kepar, Kepala Batas were ordered to cease classes for one week starting today.
